Coronado is situated across the soaring bridge from downtown San Diego. It is a relaxed Southern California beach town, boasting one of the best beaches, endless sunshine, and a bayside overlooking San Diego’s skyline. Coronado was named one of the Dozen Distinctive Destinations and given the Great American Main Street Award. In 2012, Coronado was named the number one beach in the 22nd annual Top 10 Beach List, produced by coastal expert Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, a professor at Florida International University.
