What To Expect

Discover a pedestrian’s paradise with its tree-lined neighborhoods and interesting eateries that will excite any taste bud! While in beautiful Coronado, you will be taken on a three-hour walking adventure starting at the historic Bluewater Boathouse and Tent City Murals. You will experience life as it was, how Coronado was settled, all the ways Coronado has changed over the years, and, of course, all of the great things that Coronado has to offer today. This popular tour invites you to enjoy being active while tasting local specialties and learning about Coronado’s history along the way. We will venture off the beaten path, stroll the streets and take in some of the picturesque historical neighborhoods. Learn why the history, culture, architecture, and entertainment offerings make Coronado so unique!

Coronado’s rich history comes to life on the tour through little-known facts and stories as well as distinctive food and wine from local and unique restaurants and shops. Tourists and locals alike can learn by exploring interesting spots that might otherwise go unseen! What a memorable way to acquaint yourself with this jewel that is called the “Crown City.”

This 3-3.5-hour walking tour offers delicious food samplings from local purveyors and eating establishments. You will hear interesting stories and tales of Coronado past and present, while dining on fresh, tasty foods. We have chosen unique places providing you everything from locally grown to globally inspired culinary samplings. Our guests tell us we gave them an “insider’s view” that touched all their senses and stimulated their appetite for adventure and fun.
